Grab Bag Price Prince:
The human life of commerce started with trading meat for pelts or pelts for a spear…
Then we got so good at producing stuff that we started trading everything for green rectangles. Now we’re even shoving those green rectangles across cyberspace, so we can buy and sell stuff without ever opening our wallets.
If you are of the mind to buy or sell something, you probably want to know what you SHOULD be paying for it. In the past, some time spent with Google may have yielded a fair market value for the widget in question.
But now we have Priceonomics.com. This site scours the internet for eBay, Craigslist and other sale sites to show you what similar items are being sold for, and how recently.
It can even email you whenever your desired item is listed somewhere at a “great price”.
As an example, here’s what they say about the value of a 2008 BMW X5. For cars, they even provide a comparison chart (lower right hand corner) showing the values of model years before and after the one you searched:
To see the data they mined to get their average, clicking the (See All) button shows how recently and where the sales were posted:
So if you want a good idea what the AVERAGE will be if you were to buy or sell something, new OR used, give Priceonomics a whirl.
Grab Bag Get Organized:
I have this fixation on getting organized in places that often aren’t… like garages, closets, garden sheds, my brain on a Sunday…. those kinds of chaotic dumping grounds.
I ran across this Flow Wall system that kinda butters my biscuits, and thought you might want to check it out. I have not used it or even seen it, but it looks pretty good:

Grab Bag Brain Game:
A new take on the old “Stroop Effect”, where you must select the color you see, not the name of the color that is written. Clearly good for focusing your attention:

A few cute ads from a Dutch transport company:
