It’s no secret to those around me that I feel Pilates to be the ultimate exercise method for general functional strength and flexibility. I have pursued it for over 20 years and I hope to continue to do so my whole life. There is, literally, nothing like it. Try it if you haven’t. Go back to it if you left it. Keep it up if you’re doing it.
May Joe’s Mo’Jo be With You
I am very impressed with this site, founded by a friend of mine.
PilatesAnytime.com offers excellent Pilates classes online. You can now take a class from a number of outstanding instructors, anytime, anywhere.
For $18 a month (that’s usually about the price for one mat class) you can take as many classes as you want.
THAT is a GREAT deal.
Try it out for a 15 day free trial… I think it is outstanding
If time is really short, and you need a 5-10 minute tune-up, refer to the attached videos I found on YouTube that clearly explain some basic, but challenging exercises.
You can do this workout every day. Great to do on the road, in a hotel room, or at home when you don’t have a lot of time.
Motivation? You need motivation? How about optimizing your chances of living a fully functional physical and mental existence well into old age? Or, if we want to get superficial but accurate as well…..
I can guarantee you will feel better after this workout than before you started it. Energy increase, flexibility, strength… hell, you’ll look like Angelina… or Brad… or Brangelina 🙂
These are my choices, and the order I prefer, for exercises that will give you a short but well-rounded workout. And once you’ve experienced the juju Pilates will bring to your life, I implore you to seek out instruction to open more doors to a whole new body/mind vibe. Shoot me a comment or email if you need help finding qualified instructors.
For this next exercise, add push ups to this as you build strength.
